Amazing experiences that I won't ever forget
We did heaps of activities with Shearwater and it was all fabulous. We would highly recommend doing it all when you're in Vic Falls. 1) We attended the Simunye: The Spirit of Africa - the dance was fabulous. And everyone also had an opportunity to meet with the performers which provided a personal touch. 2) We did the all day white water rafting on the Zambezi - it was so fun. The captain and staff were so attentive. The toughest parts were the hike down and back up the gorge. The staff really took care of us and helped us with the hike. Shoutout to Captain Frank and MQ - who were so fabulous to get me back up the gorge - it took forever but they were all so patient and we had lots of laughs along the way. They're a great group of guys. Can't recommend this activity more! It was definitely something that I won't forget. 3) I did the bungee and the swing off the bridge - I always felt safe but it was terrifying especially on the swing. But I did it and have some great video footage - I've already watched it a few times to relive this experience!

Guided falls walking tour
We had a guided walking tour of the falls. Dennis was incredible, his knowledge and ability to explain everything we wanted to know was great. Highly highly recommend a day out with Dennis for a guided tour. You can do the walk by yourself but having someone with local knowledge of the falls, history of the country and all round general knowledge was fantastic.

Airport transfer: way too early, totally inflexible
I paid for an airport transfer a couple of days in advance. The next day they told me they would pick me up at 10am for my 1:15pm flight. The airport was only 20 minutes from my hotel. I BEGGED them to pick me up later, as I had 33 hours of travel ahead of me and getting to the airport 3 hours ahead seemed ridiculous for an airport this size. They flat out refused. I was the only one in the van and I arrived at the airport at 10:15… the check in desk wasn’t even open until “after 11am!” So what was the big rush? On the up side: Pickup arrived early and was waiting when I came out and the driver was very nice.

Awesome solo trip
I had an awesome time in Vic falls for my birthday. I owe the ease and fun of my trip to Nyasha who organised everything for me with grace and Musako (hope I spelled it correctly) who helped calm me down but the bridge before my bungee. Mpilo was also very helpful in getting my way around. Shelton was my guide by the falls and he gracefully took the most beautiful pictures of me. These are the kindest people I’ve ever met. My first solo trip was nothing short of amazing!

Do NOT use Shearwater to guide you around the Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is just amazing, a truly wonderful experience. We used Shearwater who gave us a guide. Anyone thinking of using this company, please be AWARE. Our guide was dishonest to us. He told us you could only pay in cash (US$) and cards were not accepted. He took us to the bank to withdraw the cash. He then overcharged us taking advantage of the “children under 12 years go half price” by charging us full price. I questioned the price difference to be told that is what the national park charged him. Funny how we had to wait outside while he purchased our tickets on our behalf and then never gave us a receipt or ticket to scan at the gate. Instead we were taken through a different gate by him to get to the park while everyone else had their tickets scanned and we now know were able to pay by card. I’m writing this to warn all travellers that our guide was dishonest and we were taken advantage of. Anyone taking children please take note in case this happens to you. As tourists we should be able to trust our guide/the company representing them. Think twice about using Shearwater, there are plenty of other companies to use.

AMAZINGLY THRILLING!
My first bungee jump and the scariest thing I have done in my entire life! I felt safe, secure, and had the time of my life. I highly recommend Shearwater Bungee. The view and experience are incredible!

Bungee Jump Off The Vic Falls Bridge
A beautiful place to do something crazy. If you want to bungee at Vic Falls Bridge, you should know that the Sheerwater company are very experienced, they are very safe and professional and they make you feel comfortable from start to finish. If you get the opportunity to bungee off the bridge... DO IT.

Shearwater Vic Falls gets a thumbs up and 10/10 from us. We were a whole group touring from Cape Town, through Botswana. We transfered through Zimbabwe and walked over to Zambia side for our daughter's bungee with them. After a delicious lunch (no matter about the pesky primates) and exhilarating jump, all was hectic and exciting, and her small handbag was left behind when we had to rush back across borders to board our returning bus. A phone call, email, and couple of WhApps later, the handbag with ALL of the content undesturbed, was brought to us all the way to Kasane's Chobe Safari Lodge! Huge thanks to Shearwater's Tony Barnett, Mike, Smart, and Hossiah, as well as Chobezi Safari's Richard. Also our concerned lady bus driver, think it was Thokoza. Badly managed, from Lucky and the rude woman who sits next to him on the Zim side reservations and the gentleman from the check in at the Zambia side. 4 weeks later I’m still waiting for a refund that they said they finalized. Horrible customer service!!
